Are you a well networked ‘strategic sales player’ within the public sector, specifically local government? Have you been selling IT services for the last 5+ years and worked for a systems integrator?
This privately owned company (they are cash rich so don’t expect a PE firm/shareholders to pull you down) has grown by over 40% during the past 24 months. Our client is incredibly eager to capitalise on its strength within the marketplace and is seeking a ‘public sector sales lead’ to drive the acquisition of local authorities and councils across the UK. On average you will be closing IT transformation service deals (cloud, cyber security, infrastructure etc.) between £1m-£3m with sales cycles lasting between 6-12 months. This role is not for the faint-hearted but a credible, IT services professional that has the ability and patience. You are expected to have gravitas, a “can do” attitude and at this level, own the full deal from cradle to grave (work with pre-sales, solutions team etc.).
A well networked individual from the local government space is highly sought after. As you manage your own business unit you will be joining this company on a remarkable journey as it expands its public sector sales team. Candidate Skills Required:
– Sold IT cloud/security/infrastructure services
– Proven track record of net new business wins
– Wealth of experience within the local government sector
